Ulakom dashboard guide: every screen, step by step

Updated Oct 14, 202618 min read

This guide walks through the Ulakom dashboard (app.ulakom.com) from start to finish, through a customer’s eyes. Each section tells you where a screen is, what’s on it and which article covers it in detail. Come back to this page whenever you get lost.

There is no account menu at the top right of the dashboard. Everything about your account is under your name at the bottom left. A site’s own settings are under Websites → Manage.

1. Dashboard (home)

Opens when you sign in: the “Welcome back” heading, the Write a new post card, live posts (per site), total conversations, credit balance, credit usage over the last 30 days and a chat chart for the last 7 days. Below are quick actions, connected sites, recent posts, drafts, most read and storage. Customise the dashboard with the layout icon at the top. → Dashboard home

2. New post (post editor)

  • Toolbar: ← Posts, Write with AI (Write from Scratch / Edit Current Article), Save draft, Publish (Update on a published post), settings panel button.
  • Body: feature image or video (From library, Upload, Generate with AI), title and content. On the feature image: Change, Enhance image quality, Add alt text, Remove.
  • Post settings: excerpt (300), SEO title (70) and description (160) with AI suggestions; under Sites to share, per-site author, categories, content type (News / Column Article), social media and web push (Pro).

The list refreshes every 15 minutes. → Discover

4. Publish

Posts from all your sites: List / Calendar views; All, Column Articles, Queue (scheduled), Drafts and Sent tabs; search, site filter and bulk delete. The chart icon on a row opens the post’s Insights panel. On template-based sites the Delete demo content notice appears here. → The Publish page

5. Business Directory and Classifieds

Both work the same way: tabs (All, Live, Pending, Rejected, Drafts / Closed), search, site and category filters. + Add New Business and + Add New Ad open two-step forms: first the details (contact, location, images, showcase and badges), then Choose sites. → Business directory · Classifieds

6. Analytics

Real reader data measured without cookies or stored IPs. Site picker and “X people reading now”; date ranges (Today to This year, Custom). The Overview tab has reads, visitors, sessions, average times, bounce rate, daily traffic, most active times and reading depth; the Content tab shows reads post by post; plus an Audience and sources tab. → Analytics

7. Pages, Comments, Inbox, Users

  • Inbox: Contact form messages; Unread, Read, Archive, Spam. → Inbox
  • Users: People registered on your site as readers, and membership settings (new sign-ups, membership to comment, publishing member comments directly). Your team isn’t here. → Reader accounts

8. Chat

Have the AI assistant write posts and generate images, then say “share”; the assistant opens a site picker card and sends the post to your sites. Chat history on the left; model picker, Post / Image mode and image attach at the bottom. → Chat

9. Bots

Choose a type with + Add new bot: Website, Create from scratch with AI, Facebook, Google Maps (Twitter / X coming soon). The form has the name, source category address, scan interval, auto-pause on empty scans, platform, site, author, category, post status, AI rewrite, image rules and advanced filters; the estimated cost is at the bottom and the AI assistant at the top right. Bot cards have Run now, Pause, copy and recent runs. → Creating a bot · Advanced settings

10. Library

Images, videos and PDFs from all sites. Site chips with storage usage at the top; click a chip for that site’s storage (Buy extra GB / cancel). Sync from sites and type filters. → Library and storage

11. Websites

Websites at the bottom left: site cards (status, address, language sites, Manage), + Add new site (3 steps: name and address → starter design → plan) and Social Media Accounts (Connect with Webixso). → Your first site · Social media

The header has four layers (Top Bar, Main Bar, Nav Bar, Bottom Bar), can be made sticky and can be exported/imported. → Design editor · Changing the logo · Design editor guide

14. Profile menu

15. Setup wizard

The wizard at the bottom right tracks four steps: create your website, share your first post, create your first bot, share your first post from Discover. Click a step to start on-screen guidance. → Setup wizard

Suggested first-day plan

  1. Create your site and delete the demo content.
  2. Set the logo and header in the design editor; upload the site icon.
  3. Arrange categories and the menu; create custom pages for the imprint and contact.
  4. Publish your first post and set up a news bot.
  5. Connect your domain and connect Search Console.
  6. Invite your team.

Tip

Don’t want to deal with all this? The setup service does it for you; it’s free with a Pro yearly plan.
