Connecting social accounts and auto-sharing

To share your posts on social media automatically, you connect your accounts through Webixso. The connection is on the Websites page at the bottom left.
Connecting an account
- In the Social Media Accounts section at the bottom of the Websites page, click Connect with Webixso (or + Add Social Account at the top right).
- After connecting, choose the accounts to share to with Add Account.
- Match each account to a website or leave it General (not linked to a site).
Share template
Edit the share text in the account’s Template Settings. You can use the Title, Content (full), N words, Date and Post link variables.
- Facebook share type: Link card (link preview card, default) or Photo post (the featured image is uploaded as a photo and the link is added to the end of the text).
- Share multiple images as a carousel: With several images, sends them as a swipeable album on Instagram/Facebook.
Where is it used?
- Post editor: Choose an account in the site’s Social Media field under Sites to share.
- Bots: In Platform to share, choose “Website and social media” or “Social media only”.
Tip
The social media icons in your site’s header and footer are a different setting: Manage → General → Social Media Accounts. See general site settings.
