A site’s basic settings are under Websites → Manage → General. At the top are the site status (Site Live) and the View Site, Clear Cache and Save buttons.

Basic information

  • Site Name: The name shown to visitors in your site’s header and interface.
  • Site Description: The short summary shown in search engines and social media shares.

Language and region

  • Site Language: The page language (reported to search engines). Fixed interface texts on the site (“Home”, “All”, “Comments”…) are shown in this language; your stories stay in the language you write them in.
  • Time Zone: Publish dates and times are shown in this time zone (e.g. Istanbul UTC+3).

Social media accounts

Choose a platform (Website, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, Bluesky…), enter the address and click Add. The accounts you add appear with their icons wherever you place the Social Media Icons block in the design editor (header and footer).

Tip

Sharing your posts automatically on social media is a different feature: social media sharing.

Site icon (favicon)

The icon shown in browser tabs, bookmarks and on mobile devices. Pick one from the library with Change from library or upload it with Upload from device. It should be square and at least 512×512 pixels.

Don’t forget to click Save Changes at the bottom after making changes.

Tip

If a change doesn’t show on the site right away, use Clear Cache at the top.
