Your domains’ DNS records are under profile menu → Settings → My domains. Click a domain in the list to see its records.
The record list
The table shows each record’s Type, Name, Value, Proxy and TTL. Filter records with the search box and the type filters (All, A, MX…).
Tip
Your domain and its www address point to your site; A / AAAA / CNAME records for these two can’t be changed. Email (MX, TXT) and all other records are free to edit.
Adding a DNS record
- Click + Add record.
- Enter the Type (A, CNAME, MX, TXT…), the Name (@ for the root or a subdomain) and the value (e.g. an IPv4 address).
- TTL can usually stay Automatic.
- Proxy (protection and acceleration): When on, traffic goes through protection and acceleration; when off it’s “DNS only” and the IP address is visible. Keep it off for email and verification records.
- Optionally add a Note (e.g. Google Workspace email) and click Add to list.
Changes aren’t applied immediately: they are added to a list first and then all saved at once with email verification. This protects your domain from accidental breakage.
Buying a domain
You can search for and buy a new domain under My domains. Buying a domain requires identity and contact details; these are stored encrypted and used only for the domain registration. You can pre-fill them under Settings → Profile.
