Account settings: profile, preferences and security

Account settings are under Settings in the profile menu that opens when you click your name at the bottom left. The window has these tabs on the left: Profile, Preferences, Storage, My domains, Notifications, Billing, Security, API & MCP.

Profile

• Profile photo, full name: Also used on your author page on connected news sites.
• Email: Can’t be changed; your account and sites are matched to this address.
• Bio: A short introduction; it appears on your author page on news sites.
• Social media accounts: Choose a platform, enter the link and click Add; they appear as icons on your author page.
• Identity and contact details: National ID number, date of birth, phone and address. Required when buying a domain; stored encrypted and used only for that purpose. You can turn on birthday emails here.
• Company details: Company name, tax office, tax number and company address if you buy a domain in a company’s name.

Preferences

• Appearance: Light or dark theme.
• Language: The dashboard interface language.
• Site time zone: Used for publish dates and scheduling; only admins can change it. Use system time sets it automatically from your browser.
• Time format: 24-hour (14:30) or 12-hour (2:30 PM).
• Week starts on: Monday or Sunday for calendars and date pickers.

Other tabs

• Storage: Your image library usage and Upgrade storage. See credits and storage.
• My domains: Your domains and DNS records. See My domains and DNS.
• Notifications: Email and in-app notification preferences (coming soon).
• Billing: A shortcut to the Billing page.
• Security: Change your password (at least 8 characters). If you signed up with Google your account may not have a password yet; set one with Forgot password on the sign-in screen.
• API & MCP: See MCP and API keys.
