AI speeds up news production; the workflow you build decides how trustworthy it is. This guide suggests a setup that balances speed with editorial control.

## Three layers of the workflow

- **Source:** Website, Facebook and AI bots plus Discover. Choose sources you trust.
- **Transformation:** AI rewriting, headline and summary generation.
- **Approval:** Editor review and publishing. Make approval mandatory for sensitive categories.

## Step 1: Publish status by category

Use automatic publishing for low-risk content like sports scores or weather, and **Pending review** for sensitive topics like politics and health.

## Step 2: Set up roles

Writers manage only their own posts; editors edit all posts. For sensitive categories, run bots in **Draft** or **Pending review** status and leave publishing to your editors. See [team and roles](https://ulakom.com/md/en/help/account/team-permissions.md).

## Step 3: Watch the cost

Check each bot’s estimated credit cost, turn on auto top-up and track monthly spend on the **Billing** page.

> **Tip:** Ask the assistant in the bot form to “Keep the cost as low as possible” to optimise scan interval and image settings.
