# SEO settings

> Home page meta title and description, social share image, robots.txt and post-level SEO fields.

Basic SEO is set up automatically. Site-wide settings are in the **Site-wide SEO** section at the bottom of **Websites → Manage → SEO**. Empty fields fall back to your site’s name and description.

- **Meta Title** (up to 70 characters): Your home page’s title in search results (e.g. “Your News – Breaking and Latest News”).
- **Meta Description** (up to 160 characters): The short description under the title in search results.
- **Social Share Image (OG):** The address of the image shown when your site is shared on WhatsApp, X or Facebook. Recommended size 1200×630; if empty, your logo is used.
- **robots.txt — Additional blocked paths:** Paths you don’t want search engines to crawl, one per line (e.g. /hidden-page).

## Post-level SEO

Each post’s SEO title, SEO description and address can be edited separately in the **Post settings** panel of the editor. If empty, the post title and excerpt are used. See [adding a post](https://ulakom.com/md/en/help/publishing/add-news.md).
