# Facebook page and group bots

> Publish posts from public Facebook pages and groups on your site, with their images and videos.

For local news sites, Facebook posts from municipalities, institutions and community groups are a valuable source. The Facebook bot follows these posts.

## Setup

1. Choose **Bots → + Add new bot → Facebook**.
2. Paste the address into **Facebook page or group URL**.
3. Choose the scan interval, site, author, category and post status.
4. Set the AI rewrite and image options and click **Create bot**.

## Media options

- **Include videos:** If the post has a video, it’s downloaded to your server and added to the article.
- **Also send all images in the Facebook post:** Adds every photo when there are several.
- **Add images as a gallery** and **Image / Gallery Position:** At the start or end of the post.

## Limits

- Only public pages and groups are supported; secret and private groups aren’t.
- Posts with empty text or that hit your filters aren’t published.
- The bot doesn’t republish posts it has already processed.
